Is there a guarantee?
The planters are guaranteed against corrosion for a period of 2 years, provided there has been no physical damage to the coating. Further details are available on our Terms and Conditions page.

What is the lead time for delivery on the planters?
Lead time for standard items is four weeks from receipt of payment. Please allow up to six weeks for bespoke items.

What materials are used?
The planters are manufactured in 1.5mm prime galvanised steel, coated with exterior grade polyester powder coat.

Can the planters be used indoors?
The planters have been designed for indoor and outdoor use. However, as drainage holes in the base of the planter are a standard feature, it is advisable to fit an impermeable liner for indoor use, to avoid unwanted watermarks on flooring. If required the planters can be produced without the drainage holes, although as with all bespoke requests this will incur an additional charge. Is delivery included in the price?
Delivery costs are included in the price of all retail sales

Are other styles and sizes available?
A bespoke design service is available: be it window boxes, specific sizes or alternative styles; unique or corporate colours; integrated lighting; or logos. However the service is more expensive and will generally take longer to manufacture, so should not be considered where budget or lead times are crucial.

Are the planters available in other colours?
We can match most standard RAL colours, however the following conditions apply:
Minimum order: 5 planters
Paint surcharges: to be confirmed at time of ordering - this charge will be waived on orders of 16+ Units of the same colour
Lead time: 6 weeks

How can the planters be secured?
Where required, planters can be bolted to the ground through the drainage holes. Alternatively they can be drilled and bolted into walls, however damage to paint caused by drilling may expose the planter to corrosion in the long term.

How can I clean the planters?
A damp cloth or sponge should be used to clean the planters. If required a simple detergent can be used.
The coating has a high life expectancy similar to that of car bodywork. If the planters are cleaned regularly, they will retain their appearance even after a long period of use.
Please do not use scouring cleaners or the scouring side of a sponge or similar. The use of these can lead to surface damage, which in combination with weather can eventually lead to corrosion.

Where can I buy the planters?
The planters are available at selected distribution partners or directly from our design office.

Are the planters heat and frost resistant?
Yes, the planters are heat and frost resistant. If they are exposed to bright sunlight they can get a warm surface, especially the darker ones.
Tip: To protect your plants from heat and frost, bubble wrap can be used - simply use it to line the inside walls of the planter before filling it up with soil.

Are the plants delivered with the planter?
As standard the planters are delivered unplanted. If required we do have plant installation partners in many regions – please contact sales@luxuryplanters.com for further information. At time of ordering our resident landscape designer can advise on plant choice if required.
